Things finally came together for the right shot on Friday night! Things happend way too fast and I ended up releasing just before anchoring. The 7 point buck did go down within 150-200 yards and I was able to recover him first thing the next morning with the help of my 17 year old nephew/god son. He had arrowed his first archery deer, a 5 point buck the morning before. What a great relief. I can't wait to do it again..only better next time.
