I'ver already committed to the Union County area. I do have a Damn Yankee friend in Cary though. How long have you lived in NC? Where did you move from and what part are you living in now?
I actually went to school in Greensboro NC so I am familiar with the pace and people.

Stay the heck out of NC. You can visit but don't be a Damm Yankee and stay. If youdo you need to move to one of two places,

Clayton - Cary Like Area Yankees Taking Over Now
Seriously,It's way slower pace down here. I don't belong to any hunt clubs but have made a lot of friends since moving here. There are a lot of properties all over the place that if you meet the right people you can gain access. Social events like church, kids sports and town events are key. It does take awhile to break into the local crowd but they are great folks once you do.
