Default RE: Are there any inexpensive sabot slugs>?

I bought the Lightfield 2 3/4 Hybreds for $6.99 at Dicks Sporting Goods last week. I didn't want to spend that much either because I also needed to sight in the gun. I called the tech line and spoke to a guy there for 20 minutes, he was a big help to my accuracy. You really should call them (I got the number from the web site), he explained the ballistics of the slug, shooting in the wind and sighting in better than anyone I have talked to. He told me to sight in at 50 yards at about 2.5 inches high and then it will hit dead on at 100 yards. It's 9 inches low at 150 yards. I only needed 6 slugs to get it dead on and then shot a total of ten to see how I could do. He will tell you to hold the foregrip tightly as the slug is still in the barrel when the muzzle jumps. 95% of my shots are under 75 yards and I have no doubt I can hit them with the Lightfields. Well worth the money and the phone call, give them a try.
