Flip...The best bowhunting closest to you (in my opinion) will be at the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge...Its in Anson and Richmond Counties...The main office is on Hwy 52 between Ansonville and Wadesboro...You have to go by there and get a permit to bow hunt, and have to keep it on you at all times..
There are some nice bucks on this refuge...Bow hunting usually runs from mid-September to mid-October...After that it is firearms only/draw hunts...
They have a good population of deer...This should get you going until you can find some private land or a club...Good Luck
