What kind of rest are you using--that makes a difference in the amount of helical you can use on the vanes. A drop away is the best rest for this--otherwise you'll have to conservative.
A tad bit of offset works good enough with the Blazers--using a helical jig you'll get quite a drastic offset and you really don't need that much. JMHO.
