what i like to do is use scent bombs in three diff. colors and set them at 15,,30. another thing you could try depending on your bow sight your pins in diff. like say you are shooting 275fps 15yd pin is good at 5-22 yds give or take an inch which is fine for hunting remember a deer kill is bigger than a grapefruit. but i use a rangefinder now
