Default Finally Got Him-Nice Buck

I finally shot my buck on 11/9/02 at 8am in a funnel between 2 doe bedding area. He was the 7th buck past the stand.

I had a 150s 10pt go past the stand that did give me a shot and then I tryed to grunt, bleat, and rattle him in and he ran like he had been beat with a switch.

10 mins. later... I hear a twig snap and hear he comes. He looks bigger than I had remembered. He caught some movement of me trying to get my bow and I froze. After about 30 sec. he flicked his tail and moved down the downwind side of my stand.

At 20 yrds. I drew my Q2 and sent a muzzy tipped gold tip through his pump station as Uncle Ted would put it. A buddy and I found him piled up about 100yrd away.

He is a main frame 5x5 with excellent mass and 3 kickers totaling 14". His bases are 6" and his C4 is still over 4". We grossed him at 169 1/8. This buck is also 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 yrs old.

I will try to get his pic. posted.
