Best, is there one....I went through this process myself and I did end up picking up and buying the Truball Copperhead. I'm impressed with the release and it's worked flawlessly for me. I have nothing bad to say about it but I would recommend the buckle strap over the velcro one for noise reasons...

That being said, many here have brought the Scott Wildcat to my attention...from what I understand, it's equally a very reliable release.
