Default RE: Early, Isn't It?

3 things I "take" from this post:

#1 - the original poster puts up a photo about it being "early".....and the buck in the photo "Appears" (to me) to be working a scrape.

#2 - Somebody tells him this deer is neither tall nor wide....and is (let's read between the lines) a little "squeak" deer.

#3 - He gets basically ridiculed for baiting.

Now.....this obsession people have for putting down others' deer ....I just don't get it. I used to live in Charleston, SC......and I don't recall EVER talking to my fishing buddies from TN about the fish we were catching. Can you imagine if they showed me a phot of their 6lb. Bass?? SIX POUNDS???? That's BAIT! Are you KIDDING?????
(the aforementioned scenario is a bit over the top.....but you get the picture) Size of fish......deer.....etc....is RELATIVE. This may be a GREAT buck where the original poster hunts.

Baiting....AHhh.......it's legal in my state. I own a timer feeder and I bought a gravity feeder, Friday. I have a feeder set up in one of my hunting AREAS......and it's there all year (except during turkey season.....which would be illegal). I DO NOT hunt near the feeder.....but I could.....legally. I'm sure it holds deer to my property......which is the point (let's be honest).

Just some thoughts......I hope this doesn't keep people from posting their own photos.....for fear/concern over being ridiculed.
