Here is the way I thought about it. Shooting factory loads in my 7400 worked great but accuracy was less than stagering. I shoot 2950fps with 130gr coreloks factory ammo. Then when I shoot H4064 or varget, my velocity dropped to 2800fps. So I am thinking why is shooting a slower powder so bad according to Sierra's people and Hodgdon's people. I appreciate there free advise but its like any advise.
