RE: To all considering hunting the "NURSERY".
OK, everyone listen up. I just talked to the man. He said that he WOULD work with us. He said he just can't be getting 100 calls a day and had to have a way of deceminating the information for ALL to have an equal opportunity. He further invited me to come up and look the property over. He said there are lots of deer and we would havea good hunt. He passed on the information about the poachers just so people would be aware of it. He's working with the DEC to keep a handle on these folks. So, disregard my post at the beginning of this thread. We need to have some input from folks to make sure they're interested. If all that expressed an interest are still good to go we should have fun. The guy is a firm believer in giving people who don't have a place to hunt the opportunity to do so in an enjoyable atmosphere. It will be a good deal if we work this out. He stated he doubted we'd beable to draw any doe tags, so unless you're from PA and have them for that area it'll more than likely be bucks only, and he wants some dead deer. As soon as we get a break in this weather I'll make a road trip and look the place over. He said lots of deer and places to hunt. If we can get some of these young whippersnappers a deer it would be good. Those of you from PA near this area would beable to continue hunting there lands in accordance with his web page instructions. Talk to me people. Everyone will be responsible for his/her own license so check the PA DEC home page to find out what you need if you're an out of stater. Check reciprocal cost etc if from a neighboring state.
