I was in Brownwood, TX for a family renioun and my dad and I stopped at a pro shop. When i got to talking with this guy i learned that he builds arrows for the guy that owns Carbon Express and Mathews. He is famous for building arrows and thats how he makes his living. When we got to talking about arrows he pulled out an Easton Axis that was broke. He said, "see that white stuff?" and I said,"ya what is it?" He said that is was fiber glass. He said that when easton and other companiesmakes their arrows they will put a layer of fiber glass inside the arrow. He said if you got that arrow and were to bend it,maybe not to thetrained eye but it would not shoot correctly everagian. And you would never get a good bullet hole with it when paper tuning. He said it would be like crumbling up paper, it would still be paper but you would not be able to get the wrinkles out. Then he showedme a carbon express arrow. It was 100% carbon, no fiber glass and he said these carbon express arrows and thebest arrows you can shoot. Healso said that they make them outof a better grade of carbon than other companies. Do ya'll believe this or think this guy is full of BS?
