RE: T/C customer service: Hit or miss?
txhunter58,
Sorry to hearthat T/C isn't helping you. I know you don't have time for it, but it would be interesting to see if you and your hunting friends can duplicate T/C's claims that your Omega shoots 1 3/4" groups at 100 yards with shockwaves. I assume that they did that with your fiber optic sights?
I sure hope you find a combination that works soon. You know, if it were me, I would consider finding another weapon to take to Colorado. Not necessarily purchasing one, but maybe borrowing one. Were I not using mine in the same season, I would gladly lend you mine.Even if you purchased a "cheapie" and sold it upon returning for less than you paid for it, its a small expense in the context of the total cost of your hunting trip, even in the context of the probably 100 to 250 you have already invested in powder and bullets trying to get the Omega to accurately shoot a legal hunting projectile.
Keep us posted on your progress and good luck.
Happy Hunting, Phil
