Default RE: Is the obsession to shoot big bucks corrupting bowhunting?

I know a big deal is always made about this topic, but it seems like above all else it's human nature. People since the beginning of time, wanted the biggest, fastest, best of anything.
Body builders want the biggest muscles, sometimes they resort to steroids. Atheletes want to be the strongest, fastest, most skilled etc. People don't want 1 million dollars in the bank they want 100 million. Race car drivers want the fastest car. People want the biggest SUV. Fishermen want to catch the biggest fish. Shooters want the biggest super ultra magnum when a 30-06 will do. Farmers want to be able to grow the most crops in the smallest area. This is what people do in ALL aspects of life.

Just a little perspective I thought about.
