Like everyone else has been saying, draw lenght plays a big role in your speed obviously. I shoot an 06 Bowtech Tribute at 27 in 81 lbs and it shoots 320s with 81, 82 lbs of KE. My arrows are 370 grains, but i have plenty of spine because I shoot a short arrow. My bow is just as quiet as any and id put it against an xt any day. Its all personal preference. Your not going to get the speed out of the mathews like you will the bowtech, but to some thats not as important. I recommend you go to your nearest pro shop and compare the two side by side. Buy which ever bow you feel the most comfortable with. They will both kill.
