Default RE: More Mountain Lions In PA Discussion

I have an idea.
Call the PGC and ask them if it is OK to shoot a ML. ( you have to tell a lie here) Tell them taht you and a buddy have been seeing one when you'v e been out scouting. Tell them you've seen it several times.

Now if they honestly believed there are no ML's they say" yeah, their protected, but go ahead and shoot it, cause there ain't no ML in PA"

See how many questions they ask you. Where? When? No don't shoot.

If the PGC honestly believed there were none, they wouldn't ask questions.

Several years ago. An old Girl friend saw one cross the road in front of her car while on her way to work. Us guys at work laughed and made fun of her all day. She described the orangish color and long tail. She knew what it was, she knows the difference betwen bobcats and ML. I showed her several pictures of each ( even some pictures without visible tails) and she always got it correct without pausing to think about it.

Anyway, I decided to call the PGC and report it. They ask several questions and seemed interested. The guy on the other line ask a couple times where this sighting was I had to give directions basically.

After I gave him the info he said it was probably an escaped pet. Then we hung up with each other.

Speculate what you want, but that happened.
