RE: Stainless vs. Blue; worth the extra $'s?
Well, if you asked me 5 years ago, I would have said doesn't make an ounce of difference. Now, after hunter the briny salt water of the swamps on the eastern shore of MD, I would say go for the stainless. Two days of hunting in that salty air and water can take its toll on a gun. But then again, not too many people hunt this kind of terrain.
