i must agree w/ tschammel on this one. there is a place for mechanical broadheads; that is for people who are taking 50, 60, and 70 yard shots in open country will gain benefits from the mechanial broadhead, but for those taking shots out to 40 yards there is really no need for a mechanical broadhead unless your bow is not properly tuned. Mechanics tend to fail; this is a sport where failure is not an option.
if you must use a mechanical i would recommend the rocky mountain snyper or theG5 tekan II. Better choices would come from the fixed blade family as noted above.
