You could shoot a machanical. I don't know why you would want to if you can get the same field tip flight from a good fixed blade. Machanicals are trouble in my opinion. I've used them for years and to many things have gone wrong for me to feel comfortable shooting them. Use a good fixed head like a magnus stinger, slick trick, or montac g5. Same flight as field tips and getbetter penetrationthan a machanical.
