Having hunted hard this week and not seeing much I put up a stand in a "backup" area. I only hunt here when the wind is out of the south....which is not often. I saw a few scrapes and rubs when scouting a couple of times and just put the stand up yesterday morning. Well, this morning we had a south wind and a break from the rain. I heard a faint series of grunts from behind me but was not sure which direction the buck would take. Luckily he was to the south of me, and he eventually worked his way to the right presenting a 15 yrd. broadside shot. He ran about 40 yrds. before piling up in a small creek. The Muzzy 3 blade 100 grain did its job and with new blades it can be used again as can the carbon arrow shaft. He is not the brute I have been after, but I am happy with him considering the recent lack of deer activity in my hunting areas and needing meat for the freezer. Ohhhhhh, I am more than happy.

Pics are coming but I need help!!!!
