last year i took my winchester x150 .50cal to the range and loaded it with 150 grains pyrodex RS and a 245 grain powerbelt. At 100 yards i put it 7 inchs high, shot a great group and then pulled back to 200 yards and and was dead on! Good thing to, i dropped 2 deer 2 months later at 148yards and 143 yards off hand. Im from Colorado so i wasnt using a scope. Even tho one of the deer i shot was during rifle season. Its a shame when my muzzleloader out shoots my 30-30 lol. Thats okay tho, during rifle season i had a good laugh at all the hunters emptying their gun twice trying to hit a deer and here i go and drop one with 1 shot, open sights and off hand at 143 yards. Rifle hunters need to learn to relax, take your time and work into range and stop taking 500 yard shots with a stinkin 243!
