I have been hunting with a shotgun/rifle/muz for a three years. I have decided to take the next step and get into bow hunting. I just signed up for the Bowhunters safety course. I'm going to buy a bow. I want to spend 400 +/- 50$ for a package including a rest and fiber optic sights and maybe a quiver. I'm 6foot1 and have no problem drawing any of my friend's bows so draw weight is not an issue but draw lenght might. I'm not looking for the best bow out there just a reliable one that can kill a deer. If I really get into it I can spent the extra money in a few years to get a top notch setup. I would appreciate any info for a rookie bowhunter. I do have some experience with bows growing up wit a hefty recurve and a bear cub. Thanks in advance.
