Out of NY I know many guys who have enjoyed hunting Stuyvesant Farm for turkey and were very happy. A lot of big birds and mostly agricultural areas. 518-758-2291

In NH, I'd suggest forgoing the guide. I could point you in the direction of birds as they are all over. If you want a guide - http://www.wildernessadventureshunt.com/Allan has turkeys all over.

In Maine, you need to apply for the permit. There are some guides for turkeys up there, but not many... yet.
