I work at a place that has a very nice weight room and actually get paid for two hours a week to work out, nice huh. Well with 5 weeks to go until my elk hunt in CO I have been doing some things in the weight room that have people thinking I'm a bit odd. First understand that 95% of my coworkers are non-hunters. In the mornings I "hike" on the StairMaster and treadmill with a full pack (75lbs) strapped to my back. We actually had a group come by while I was doing this and I got some strange looks. In the evening I climb about 50 flights of stairs, again with my pack.

When I'm at home I put my 3 year old in my pack and we go for long walks. He can actually stand up in my pack and look out over me, he thinks it's a blast and keeps asking when we are going to Colorado. Anyone else do odd things like this?
