bayonets, I think you'll be well pleased with a Mighty Mite. I have one, and it's my favorite bow to shoot. I also have a P38 DC, and sold my 2002 Patriot & P40. I have a 2003 Pat DC on order. The MM is a great hunting bow. Very accurate and easy shooting, in a 31.5" package. For a pure hunting bow, you can't go wrong. I also shot a few 3Ds this summer with the MM, and had decent scores. Close to the P38. The MM can also be made very quiet for hunting purposes. Should you get one, try the 7 1/2" Vibracheck Isolator. I tried all the stabilizers in the shop, and felt this one did the best job of reducing recoil & noise. Good luck.
