I had same problem with my 300rum same model so I bedded in a hs stock and didnt have that problem any more. I also had a 270 in same model that I bedded in the rem tupperware stock and filed the 2 pressure points off and noticed a big change for the better. I did have to bed it twice cause I had a problem with the glass not sticking to the stock well didnt rough up enough the first time.
