Cayugad,

Last Sunday, I used a wad on every shot. I used the 3/16" wad cards from Track of the Wolf that UC pimps. They did worked great, but the .504 Bull Shops just load too loose after inserting the wad. So, this trip, I wanted to shoot without a wad and see if they loaded any different and also see if I lost any accuracy.

Well, the do load better in my opinion. They still load super easy, but there is a little resistance and I would not fear one coming off the powder, like I would on a barrel after inserting one of these wads.

I don't think I lost any accuracy this trip, while not using a wad. I feel that I could shoot all day using these wads and not have to swab once. Today, I think I went 10 shots and then based on the way the bullets were seating, I needed to swab.

I will experiment with and without the wad once i get the .5045's from Alaska.
