I bought the gun used from the original owner when it was 14 months old. Even after adding a 350$ scope I still don't have 2k in it...

However, to set the same gun up new from the factory would cost me about 3100$ all in...

In the end, (assuming you can afford the original purchase price), it really comes down to what the gun is worth if you were forced to sell it. I can tell you with full confidence, I can easily get back what I paid forthis setup.

(As an example, I almost doubled my money on a similar gun I bought last spring, then sold last fall....After which I repurchased an identical model for substantially less this spring....)
