RE: LUBE BORE OR NOT?
i too started using hoppes in cold.i think i got idea from you.but, i dont shoot much in winter.only hunt into feb here in pa.i guess what i was trying to bring out was,are we getting better accuracy with a dry bore,like without bore butter or hand cream etc or is it better with something in bore other than patch that is lubed.you folks are experts here no doubt about that. i learned a lot on here.my area is hunting the buck with muzzleloader.that is where i can help but i feel more excited about SHOOTING more from you folks on here in years.i guess, sproul is getting soft on hunting.i hate to kill a buck anymore, in fact, i was feeding 4 fawns today, 1 with white face and legs. they call them a pie-ball.so, i am losing thrill of kill BUT i am more excited on target shooting, thanks to you folks with rb than in 35 years i have been using a muzzleloader.
