I've owned one for 10 years, How ever I don't use it all the time it seems to work well when I do. I have found that I will use it on windy days and have picked up gobbles in the distance over the wind, mind ya it is sure noisy at the time. I also found you will hear gobbles so far off you have no idea where they came from, or can't hunt here anyways, lol , over all it an "either, or" for the Walkers Game ear for me...BT
