Are they legal? I see on some website some pistols where for sale with a sound suppressor. It was .22 so im not sure, but maybe its legal for .22
I wasnt aware you could buy one or does it depent on the state?

Fill out the proper paper work with the BATF, get finger printed,pay your fees, be willing to submit to a indepth background check,and wait. The waiting process can take up to 6 weeks if ordered from a class 3 dealer and can take up to 4 months for individual transfers.Once you have the proper permits, then it's legal.
