RE: Cutting down Carbon arrows queston
I've always seen them cut by rotating because then you make sure that the cut is straight and you can get all of the burrs off at the end of the cut. I'm sure once you buy a saw your friends will want to use it, so just charge them a little bit and it will get paid for in no time. If you are close to the shop, $1 an arrow isn't bad I don't think. I don't know how many arrows a year you go through, but I know for me, it wouldn't get much beyond like $12 a year.
