RE: I have $2,000 waiting for Bowtech and no one wants it
I normally do not advocate buying something without trying out all the other options but I think with a 27 inch draw you will like the Allegience better. I have a 2005 Allegience and have a buddywith a 2006 Allegience. Both are great bows just depends on how much you want to spend to get one.
My wife shoots a Equalizer and we tried alot of other bows before she settled on that one. With a 25 inch draw and 40 lbs limbs a 325 grain arrow is about 257 fps. By far not a kids bow and pound for pound will have more speed than the allegience in the short draw, low pound range.
At 27 inches and prob. stronger than her you will have more options with the Allegiencesuch as going above 60 pound limbs and alot longer draw length if you ever want to trade up or sell it.
Do not confuse the Equalizer with a kids bow though because I have seen the group she puts out there at 40 yards and I wouldn't wanther shooting at me with it.
