Hey Bill, I can speak for Craig county 20-30 miles just to your north. I have hunted there for many years and there is tons of public land available to hunt with a good amount of deer. I hunt in the Paint Bank area myself but know many people who have had alot of sucess on John's Creek and Barbours Creek as well.
