I killed a buck a few years ago that was nice, but not quite big enough to mount. I found Skulltaxidermy.com. They clean skulls and also have a process where they metalize the skull. They have 5 different kinds of metal to choose from. I got mine bronzed, the antlers are still natural. It really looks cool. It cost me about $200, but they really did a nice job. Something to consider for your next mount.
