RE: kY Dam report
Well, ONCE UPON A TIME! my new buddy Neil from Michigan shot a very large grassie down in the Tennessee river. It then proceded to wrap around a chunk of Rip Rap and cut the 200# fast flight line. I got a walkie talkie call to look for an arrow, but did not get or understand the story. So my boat mate and I were going along (in the day time) and seen this nice white arrow sticking in this log. And the line was floating up along the surface. The log was only 18 inches down. As I reached for the line, the log swam off. Had I know would have been pretty easy even for me to stick another arrow in the log. But having done that a few times, I have found it very hard to pull out. Speaking of that on my last outing on Georgetown lake, Snuffy managed to convince me that there were two carp laying next to each other. We all know I like doubles and tripples. Well skiptical as I was, I made a perfect shot into a radial tire. Would have got them both. Boy, was that a mistake. First just gettng the mud filled tire into the boat then cutting and beating the head out of thesteel belts. So I am a lot more careful now. Hence watching the log swim off. It was not a large as the one Alex shot but close. Probably only 40 #'s.
