If you have two bows - one that shoots at a slower fps than the other at the same draw weight - will the arrow from the slower bow have deeper penetration?

Please understand that:

1) this is a question that comes from a novice - I dont profess to be an expert and,
2) Logically I would think that some of the energy from the faster bow would be sacrificed, thus preventing deeper penetration.

Just curious
