Axel and I had our second run this weekend. Just like his first he simply was amazing. Being a human with an insignificant nose it's hard to fathom the ability of our canine companions. My mom and her husband were over so I laid a line to show Tim how he works it. At the end of the line layed a deer leg. Axel took the trail immediately and worked the line right to the leg. I let him knaw on the leg all the while praising him for his find. I will now start lengthening the lines and waiting longer and longer to start the tracking.

So far, so great.
