Go with the recurve. The lighter draw will help develop good shooting form. Arrows are easier to match(IMHO). A long bow is a little more touchy on form and arrow selection. Well I find that to be true but no doubt LBR and the other long bow shooters will have some in put on that Best shoot them both and go with what YOU feel most comfortable with.
