Default RE: Sighting in my bow...

what is the knocking point?? do I have to have a peep sight or can I go without one and just use the little disc that goes to the corner of my mouth

I just got educated last year. I believe the knocking point is where the arrow knock goes on your string. You really need to go to a bow shop and have them put a peep site on for you and set your bow up.They did mine for free. { When I bought a rest}
1. The knocking point makes sure your arrow is shooting straight. Otherwise the arrow can be leaving the bow high or low.
This man put a string loop on as my knocking point. I love it.

You just simply attach your quick release to the loop. Pull back and squeeze the trigger. If your not using a quick release you can't use the string loop. The quick release even brought my groups much closer. Most are at 2"
2. Peep sites are awesome.They cost about 3.00. That was the first thing that help me by over 100% The string loop and quick release closed the deal.
3. I still don't have a kisser that your talking about that goes to your mouth. I use my knuckle to my jaw bone as the Anchor Point.
