Default RE: What kind of bullet do you shoot?

I have had excellent luck w/ "federal premium" round's with a couple of different guns. for my .270 rifle i use the nosler ballistic tip in 150 grain. i have had great success with this round. its pretty flat shooting, and velocity and footlbs. are great at long distances. for my ruger m77, .308 i shoot federal premium, sierra gameking, st/bt., in a 165 grain round. it doesn't have the velocity of the .270 or the stamina for distance, but its still a good round. since i started using these rounds i have had only one deer travel more than 20yds, and it wasn't the bullets fault.

all in all, the federal premium rounds have worked very well for me.
