280 Remington the most underrated cartridge ever conceived...does everyting the 7 mag will with minor exception and has exceptional accuracy. "Strictly a Handloading proposition."

What does this mean?

The local bass pro shops has this rifle in stock in a .280 but I have been warned that ammo is hard to find. I found it on the shelf in 2 or 3 different brands.

I am not going to buy multiple rifles I will probably be more like that guy that has been shooting that same '06.

The guy down the street can order the .300 wsm.

I was given the advice to shoot a box of mag cartridges to see if I like it. I think this is good advice. Would this apply to the wsm?
