Sounds like you might need to lower your nock some. Shoot it through paper to confirm if its right. Mine took a grand total of 6 shots to achieve perfect bullets. Some say paper tuning is not important but personally if I know my arrow is coming off the string perfectly with a bullet hole I always have good performance down range.
