Yep, grew up in BC and hunted moose almost every year. Used to use my .308 and still do if I'm stalking through swamps and muskeg after them. In our party there was another .308, 2 30/06's, 1 7mm Rem mag and a 300 win mag. When I moved to Alberta where hunting moose with a rifle is primarily a draw I switched to hunting them with my bow, but also picked up a .325WSM to compliment the 270WSM I have in the same rifle I use for hunting WT'S over crop land. This way I'm covered for everything. That being said at work when moose wander into town and sometimes start causing a lot of grief I will stand by with my .308 until the Fish and Wildlife boys show up to deal with it.
