RE: Removing Fletching glue
Acetone works ok, but I couldn't get the new fletchings to stick to the arrows worth a darn after using it. I think you have to wash/scrub the arrows to get the acetone off afterward, even though it looks like it evaporates away.
What works better for me is Steel Force Beyond Clean arrow soap/cleaner. Just a little bit of that and a plastic green sos-type pad takes everything off, no problem. I've never had any issues with the new fletchings not sticking afterward, either. It's maybe not quite as cheap as acetone, but it's pretty inexpensive.
