Default Practice makes perfect...offseason varmit downed (pic)

Guys,

Today was my bday, so I got to spend all day tinkering with my new Tribute and G5 sight, getting sighted in and shooting at my block and 3d target. I got sighted in at 20, 30 and 40 with 3-4 inch groups at 40. So, I'm pretting satisfied. Then for the fun of it, I moved out to 50, i was dropping arrows in the vitals on my 3d with some good consistency, so I moved out to 60. Well the one problem I have with my g5 sight is that the fifth pin doesn't have a lot of movement, so I got it set at 65yds. I shot 10-20 shots at that yardage and was amazed at what good grouping I had at that distance. Well, I'm getting ready to go to a cook out, turn around and see a groundhog. These guys are murder on my deck and house foundation. I take them whenever I can. I range the guy at 62 yards. Draw and fire. Well, I drilled him. Pics included. That's the farthest I've ever taken one, the last one was 55 yards. Anyhow, I just wanted to share my achievement (luck with practice). I'm feeling pretty good on the bow, needless to say. Take care.

Kelly
