Been awhile almost 6 years is the last time I hunted out in this area. 106 (Happys Inn, Wolf Creek area up to lippy) Did see some nice Bulls when I did. Will be scouting for my 72 year old father for his 1st moose hunt in Montana.
Any good advice? When do the moose rut? When would you guys start scouting? Whats a good repectable size moose in Montana 40-45" plus? Anyone know this area good for moose?
I live in Kalispell but hunt south for archery elk and deer. Thanks Matt
