BUCK PAYS NO MIND!!!
The other day I was still hunting with my bow and I had decided to sit in a little dip in the ground next to a 150 acre field.Well the dip was deep enough that I could sit in it comfortably and still be able to draw my bow if needed.I sat there for a long time and finally a few does came out of the woodline on the other side of the field, about 10 minutes later a 22-2.5 year old 8-pointer came out of the woodline behind them. The buck was eating for a while and then started to head for the does and he passed me by,I was only about 60 yards or so away(not a very good bow range obviously) so I began grunting in a low tone towards him and he just blew me off,so I used the "Can" and he totally ignored it like I wasn't even there. This is really annoying. The buck to doe ratio is about 1:10 and I'm not sure if it is that or if he just really wanted one of those does, but just ignored me and I couldn't believe it.Any pointers on this?
