RE: gun appraisal
Here's what I found on the Remington Model 33 in my 1989 book of "Modern Gun Values"...................
"Take-down bolt-action, single-shot; 22 short, long, and LR; 24" barrel; bead front sight, open rear; checkered pistol-grip stock, grooved forearm. Introduced in 1931; dropped in 1936. Used value, $125 - $145."
Since the prices listed are over 13 years old, I'd guess your gun to be worth about $165-$215 if in GOOD condition. B/C of the condition you mentioned, I think you'd be lucky if you got $150. Just use it and enjoy it.
