For the most part, the technique to call all listed predators is about the same. The main difference being that typically you need to stay in one spot and call longer for cats, as they generally come slower, and they often times will hold up, or stall, once they get to where they can see, or where they think they can see, the action, usually at the edge of cover. SO, a guy really needs to study his surroundings when expecting cats, because they won't be there one moment and then they are there the next!
As far as spot lights, I don't do any night calling, BUT from what I have seen on video, it looks like a gun mounted light along with a buddy to hold a larger spot light works well! One guy does the calling and jack lighting, while the other is set up to do the shooting!

By the way, very few mountain lions are killed by calling them, it can be done, but very few get'er done!
